{"id":226,"date":"2019-06-28T10:19:58","date_gmt":"2019-06-28T10:19:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qualidiff.no\/?p=226"},"modified":"2019-06-28T10:21:36","modified_gmt":"2019-06-28T10:21:36","slug":"differentiation-of-salmon-in-poland-and-germany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qualidiff.no\/en\/2019\/06\/28\/differentiation-of-salmon-in-poland-and-germany\/","title":{"rendered":"Differentiation of salmon in Poland and Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Qualidiff researchers interviewed representatives of salmon producers in Poland and supermarket chains in Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The researchers visited a number of German supermarkets and observed that salmon is differentiated by<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Origin: Norway, Scotland, Ireland and Alaska<\/li>\n<li>Wild \/ farmed salmon<\/li>\n<li>Organically produced<\/li>\n<li>ASC or MSC lebelling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;We did not find quality differentiation in the German supermarkets we visited. However, premium products, which communicate higher quality through price and packaging, were present in the market.
